This article is about nowadays economic system that is based on knowledge as the most important factor of production (named Knowledge Economy) and how this Knowledge Economy influences countries around the world. We tried to explain how research and innovation are important for avoiding the crisis. We should understand we have to invest in R&D, in Innovation and Education and in human resource too if we want to live in a prosperous and competitive country.
