Abstract


The effectiveness of public institutions is a vital prerequisite for development. Creating such effective institutions requires an integrated approach to support public sector reforms and the recognition of the strategic functions of public financial management and procurement.

Romania has taken responsibility for establishing the necessary national framework to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. In this context, this article will analyse the National Strategy for Sustainable Development Review Project, which is a concrete approach specifically designed for the adoption of a programmatic document aimed at adapting a paradigm shift at the global level in the field of sustainable development. Sustainable Development Priorities, Priorities and National Context, by 2030. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals are overarching goals for all States to address all forms of poverty, combat inequalities and climate change.

In this article, we analyse Romania's responsibility to adhere to European sustainable development strategies. We analyse the changes made and the results obtained. We will analyse the evolution of the past 5 years using the Competitiveness Report and the Institutional Effectiveness Platform.
